The EMD WINCH 6,000 lbs electric winch is widely recognized for its extreme reliability and low operational noise level. Equipped with a 100% automatic braking system and a high-performance Series Wound motor, this equipment is engineered for speed and safety under challenging conditions.

1. APPLICATION

This winch is part of the Automotive / Off-road Segment. It is ideal for small to mid-sized all-terrain vehicles, car trailers, and light recovery applications.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For safe and efficient operation, it is mandatory that the pulling capacity of the winch is at least 1.5 times the gross weight of the vehicle.

2. COMPONENT ANALYSIS

MOTOR AND ELECTRONICS

The Series Wound motor provides superior torque and an above-average recovery speed. The electrical system is managed by a sealed 400A contactor, protected against severe weather conditions.

ROPE AND FAIRLEAD

Equipped with an 8 mm x 15 m synthetic rope, it offers the advantage of reduced weight and enhanced safety in the event of a breakage. Rope guidance is handled by an aluminum Hawse fairlead.
