Maintenance & USEFUL TIPS

Power Source

For the correct operation of the winch, it is recommended to use a car battery of at least 650 CCA (cold cranking current), generally equivalent to a 70-80 Ah battery. The winch should always be used with the vehicle engine running, to prevent battery discharge and for optimal power.

Using the Clutch

The lever allows 90-degree rotation for manual release. Never engage the clutch while the engine is running.

Safety & Inspection

Check the integrity of the guide rollers and the condition of the cable after each session. Never stand in the direct line of the cable under tension. It is recommended to use a cable weight (damper) to reduce recoil in the event of an accidental failure.
